At a pivotal international conference convened by the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions in November 2023, more than 300 people from NHRIs, UN agencies and civil society shared their experiences, challenges and priorities.
Their discussions led to the adoption of the Kyiv-Copenhagen Declaration, which set out concrete steps to promote stronger collaboration and more effective human rights safeguards.
