The Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF) is the leading human rights organisation in our region.
We plan and deliver all aspects of the APF’s communications progam, including:
- Developing and maintaining the APF website, published in English and Arabic
- Producing digital stories to showcase the powerful work of national human rights institutions in the region; for example, with Dr Sima Samar, Chairperson of the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission
- Publishing video training kits on key topics, including preventing torture, human rights education, advancing the rights of indigenous peoples and protecting the rights of women
- Preparing the APF Bulletin, a monthly electronic newsletter for more than 1,500 subscribers.
We also run media and communications training programs for national human rights institutions across the Asia Pacific region, drawing on the Media Handbook for National Human Rights Institutions we prepared in 2014.
